Named after the founders' son, a nickname given to him by his twin sister as soon as she could utter her first words, the Hiya series is made from MDF, which is produced from recycled/reclaimed materials, and painted with an eco-friendly, non-toxic powder coated paint with low VOC's. Additionally, by selecting bamboo you have the option of choosing a sustainable hardwood. All Spot on Square products are made in and distributed from Southwest Michigan, a hub for modern furniture manufacturing.
The Hiya Bookshelf is made to be used by kids and adults alike. Includes hidden wall mounted safety strap for extra stability. The upper left/lower right doors hide the items you don't want out while the open shelves provide an an area for placing books or to display toys.
