Their warm light and soft felt shade are inviting to both sight and touch. Using traditional felt molding technologies and local manufactures as a source of inspiration, the Shroom light explores felt's natural beauty as a material for diffusing light. Material density softens and directs light, producing a relaxing atmosphere. Will blend seamlessly into any modern or eclectic child's room decor. Shade is made from 100% wool, manufactured my one of the last millineries in the USA. Frame is powder coated carbon steel. Design requires the use of a compact fluorescent bulb, which requires less energy and has a much lower ambient temperature than a standard socket bulb.
